  • *The Opportunity**

As a Part-Time/Casual Customer Service & Sales Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of roles, including sales, visual merchandising, point of sale support, inventory and order fulfillment, and customer care. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, building relationships with customers, and driving sales growth. You will also have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced retail environment, with a focus on teamwork, communication, and problem-solving.

  • *Key Responsibilities**
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Build relationships with customers, understanding their needs and preferences, and providing personalized recommendations and solutions
  • Drive sales growth through active selling, product knowledge, and effective communication
  • Maintain a high level of visual merchandising, ensuring that the sales floor is visually appealing and well-organized
  • Operate cash registers, process transactions, and maintain accurate cash handling procedures
  • Assist with inventory management, receiving and processing incoming merchandise, and fulfilling special orders and store-to-store shipping requests
  • Provide support with customer care, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • *Essential Qualifications**
  • Pleasant personality, excellent customer service skills, and a passion for working with the public
  • Moderate computer/systems competency, with experience using point of sale systems and other retail software
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, colleagues, and management
  • Ability to occasionally climb ladders, lift and/or move up to 50 pounds as needed, and stand for long periods of time
  • Prior retail sales experience is helpful but not required
  • *Preferred Qualifications**
  • Experience working in a fast-paced retail environment, with a focus on customer service and sales growth
  • Knowledge of retail software, including point of sale systems and inventory management systems
