Day in the Life
As a Pharmacy Technician Data Entry Specialist, you will perform data entry tasks and work collaboratively with other team members in the prescription dispensing process at our closed-door pharmacy. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Triaging customer care requests by division, urgency, and data/reaction required
- Computing or verifying correct dosages based on prescriptions
- Assisting with reviewing opioid Rx's to ensure timely refill
- Providing dispensing pharmacist information regarding allergies and drug interactions, therapeutic duplications, and other concerns flagged by the computer
- Creating and maintaining accurate patient records
Key Responsibilities
As a Pharmacy Technician Data Entry Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:
- Accurately entering prescription orders and patient information into our system
- Verifying prescription orders for accuracy and completeness
- Providing exceptional customer service to patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals

Requirements and Qualifications
