We're looking for a highly skilled and motivated Remote Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for placing calls to provider offices to obtain missing medical documentation, which will be entered into our company database. You'll work closely with our team to ensure adherence to challenging project timelines and complete additional tasks as required to support our division.
- *Key Responsibilities**
As a Remote Customer Service Representative, your key responsibilities will include:
- Performing outbound telephone calls and/or other means of contact with each facility to retrieve medical records via fax, mail, through remote electronic medical record access, or by scheduling a visit at the provider location
- Effectively communicating with team members and external providers to ensure adherence with challenging project timelines
- Completing additional tasks as required to support our division
- Collaborating with our team to resolve customer issues and improve overall customer satisfaction
- Maintaining accurate records and updating our database with retrieved medical documentation
- *Customer Service Representatives Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications:
- **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent
- **Experience**: 1+ years of call center experience within the healthcare/medical field (desired)
- **Strong ability to handle fast-paced training program**: You'll need to be able to adapt quickly to our training program and work in a fast-paced environment
- **Ability to type 40 WPM**: You'll need to be able to type accurately and efficiently to meet our productivity standards
- **Medical terminology a plus**: While not required, knowledge of medical terminology is a plus in this role
- **Must have your own work equipment**: You'll need to have your own PC/Laptop, mouse, and headset to work 100% remotely
- **Must be computer savvy**: You'll need to be familiar with Google Chrome and able to maneuver through multiple tabs
