  • *Key Responsibilities**

As a Specialist II, Revenue Accounting, you'll be responsible for performing a range of essential accounting functions, including:

  • **Reviewing accounting data**: You'll be responsible for reviewing and analyzing accounting data to ensure accuracy and compliance with careerzynith's financial policies and procedures.
  • **Processing refund claims**: You'll process refund claims in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring that all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
  • **Updating journal vouchers**: You'll update journal vouchers to reflect changes in accounting data, ensuring that all financial records are up-to-date and accurate.
  • **Investigating and resolving accounting discrepancies**: You'll investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies in a timely manner, including communication with external contacts as necessary.
  • **Completing data entry**: You'll complete data entry of accounting information with high accuracy and attention to detail, ensuring that all financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
  • **Modifying and reviewing daily passenger ticket and ancillary refund requests**: You'll modify and review daily passenger ticket and ancillary refund requests, ensuring that all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
  • **Distributing and storing month-end closing statistics reports**: You'll distribute and store month-end closing statistics reports, ensuring that all financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
  • **Performing various tasks and ad-hoc activities**: You'll perform various tasks and ad-hoc activities as assigned by the immediate supervisor/manager to support the department's/organization's achievement of goals and business objectives.
  • *Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • **High School diploma or GED equivalency**: You'll need to have a High School diploma or GED equivalency, with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related business field preferred.
  • **Aircraft/travel industry accounting experience**: While not essential, aircraft/travel industry accounting experience is an asset.
  • **Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook**: You'll need to be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, with the ability to learn new software and systems quickly.
  • **Knowledge of general accounting principles and systems**: You'll need to have a solid understanding of general accounting principles and systems, including financial reporting and analysis.
  • **Excellent organizational skills**: You'll need to have excellent organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
  • **Intelligent and analytical ability**: You'll need to have an intelligent and analytical ability to reason and problem-solve, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
