- *Job Summary**
As an ROI Data Entry Administrator, you will be responsible for processing Risk Adjustment requests for clients, remotely. This will involve retrieving electronic documents from client databases/electronic Medical Records systems, logging pertinent information, and transferring electronic document images into the ROI-log proprietary database. This is a 3rd Shift position, working 11pm – 7:30am EST, Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday/Saturday (off Wednesdays and Sundays).
- *Key Responsibilities**
- Use electronic data system to process information accurately and efficiently
- Ensure timely completion of client requests to prevent backlog and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
- Communicate effectively with team members and client representatives as needed to resolve issues and address concerns
- Make decisions about what specific record components to release/make available, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and guidelines
- Review and apply HIPAA regulations to ensure compliance with privacy statutes and maintain confidentiality of patient information
- Perform other duties as assigned, including working within scope of position and direction, and accepting assignments and additional tasks as needed
- Determine records to be released by reviewing requestor information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines and obtaining pertinent patient data from various sources, including electronic, off-site, or physical records that match patient request
- Complete release of information requests with complete accuracy and quality checks, including retrieving patient’s medical charts, pulling medical records accurately and correctly (according to requests), established procedures, and established standards of quality and productivity; and electronically transmit medical record to processing operations
- Work within scope of position and direction; willingly accept assignments and be available to take on additional tasks, facilities, or assist with ROI backlogs or other ROI functions as needed
- Properly record hours utilizing proper class codes and activity codes in MRO’s electronic time keeping system
- Be available during scheduled hours, dedicated to MRO work alignment in a distraction-free and uninterrupted environment
- Adhere to productivity standards for each client’s work as assigned, meeting minimum requirements
- *Essential Qualifications**
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- College course beneficial but not required
- Proficient computer skills, including accurate data entry skills
- Ability to work effectively and independently in high volume production environments
- Experience retrieving information from computer database is helpful
- Dependable, good organizational skills, good communication skills, and attention to detail
- Positive teamwork-oriented attitude
