As a Financial Service Representative Trainee, you will be responsible for providing remarkable customer service to clients nationwide by handling inbound calls, resolving banking inquiries, and completing transactions on behalf of credit unions and banks. - Provide exceptional customer service to clients nationwide by handling inbound calls, resolving banking inquiries, and completing transactions on behalf of credit unions and banks
- Access sensitive information and complete transactions in various computer platforms
- Protect client accounts by verifying caller identities and preventing fraud
- Answer and resolve a wide range of banking inquiries, including account and loan-related issues, online banking problems, and transfer requests
- Provide product and service education to clients, as needed
- Cross-train with other departments to develop new skills and expand your knowledge
- Meet or exceed performance metrics, including talk time, chat time, and quality review scores
- *Essential Qualifications**
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience with general banking knowledge and terminology, as well as banking platforms (mobile, online banking)
- Proficient typing, listening, computer, and reading skills
- Excellent attendance record and ability to work scheduled days, evenings, Saturdays, and Sundays, as well as some holidays
- Ability to quickly and efficiently navigate multiple computer programs simultaneously while accurately documenting interaction details
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, even in challenging situations
- Professional and upbeat attitude, with a desire to provide exceptional customer service on every interaction
- *Preferred Qualifications**
- Bilingual (Spanish) skills, with ability to communicate with clients in Spanish
- Experience working in a call center or customer service environment
- Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements
- Familiarity with financial software and systems

- Language Skills: Ability to read, write, and comprehend complex instructions while clearly and professionally communicating in an accurate and timely manner
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to accurately add, subtract, divide, and multiply to provide clients with accurate account data
- Computer Skills: Type approximately 40 net words per minute and have the ability to troubleshoot basic computer issues
- Physical Demands/Work Environment: Ability to sit for extended periods, use a keyboard, and talk to clients via a hands-free headset in a moderate to high noise environment

- Competitive hourly rate of $17.00, plus shift differentials of $2-$5 per hour for evening, weekend, and holiday shifts
