- Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in long-term care and assisted living facilities
- Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene
- Support residents with mobility, transfers, and ambulation as needed
- Monitor vital signs, intake/output, and blood glucose levels; document any changes
- Collaborate with facility staff to follow individualized care plans and report necessary adjustments in care, medication, or medical equipment
- Qualifications
- Active CNA License in South Dakota or eligibility for reciprocity/multi-state transfer
- Maintain required certification renewals
- Experience preferred but not required—new CNAs are welcome
- Must be 18 years of age or older
