Position Overview
We are currently seeking experienced
Linguists
to support an upcoming opportunity within the
healthcare sector
.
This role involves
QA and Machine Translation Post-Editing (MTPE)
of clinical and patient-related communications, including appointments, prescriptions, and general healthcare documentation.
- We are particularly interested in the following language combinations:
- English US to Spanish US
- Spanish US to English US
- Responsibilities
- Perform MTPE and quality assurance tasks as needed
- Be responsive to emails and/or phone calls
- Manage multiple assignments and meet short turnaround times while maintaining high-quality work.
- Maintain confidentiality and protect the integrity of sensitive information.
- Requirements
- Must use Word and PDF
- Experience with Trados Studio and MemoQpreferred
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experienceas a translator
- Experience in Medical / Life Sciences(clinical or patient-facing content preferred)
- Experience with proofreading and editing is a plus
- Successful completion of a short healthcare terminology test
