We are looking for a remote, contract Grant Writer with experience in SBIR, NSF, or NIH grants to help fuel our growth. This role spans grant administration, proposal writing, prospect research, and fundraising.Responsibilities
• Develop a deep understanding of Ourself's history, structure, objectives, programs, and financial needs
• Research grant opportunities from government and non‑government sources
• Strategically analyze and prioritize funding opportunities
• Draft and prepare grant proposals and supporting documents according to funder requirements
• Submit proposals for approval and respond to queries throughout the review process
• Maintain positive relationships with fund providers and stakeholders
• Keep accurate records and submit reports related to grant activity
Qualifications
• Proven expertise in grant and proposal writing
• Experience in grant administration and fundraising
• Excellent written communication and attention to detail
• Ability to manage deadlines across multiple submissions
• Experience with SBIR, NSF, or NIH grants required
• Experience with digital health grants a plus
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
