    Job Description:
  • Managing Consultants at Guidehouse play a pivotal role in leading project delivery and ensuring the successful implementation of strategy and transformation solutions for healthcare system clients.
  • Working under the guidance of a Director or Associate Director, this position is responsible for managing day-to-day project activities, coordinating cross-functional teams, and driving operational excellence across client engagements.
  • The Managing Consultant partners closely with clients and internal stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into actionable project plans, deliver high-quality solutions, and foster strong client relationships.
  • Success in this position is measured by the ability to deliver projects on time and within budget, achieve client satisfaction, and contribute to the growth of Guidehouse’s healthcare consulting practice.
  • This role supports clients in evaluating, planning, and partnering to optimize healthcare delivery across and between health care systems.
    Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, public health, public policy, or related field
  • 7 years minimum (9 years preferred) of previous work experience in healthcare administration/management experience for a healthcare system and/or a consulting firm
  • Clinical or operational background within a healthcare system, with the ability to translate clinical and operational insight into system-level planning and strategy
  • Experience with strategic partnerships and operational partnering efforts among healthcare entities
  • Capacity to own a complex work stream, meet deadlines, and drive results
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated excellence in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • A track record of efficiency, flexibility, creative problem-solving, self-motivation, and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop junior staff
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required)
