About the position
The HEDIS Nurse position is a temporary role focused on medical record review and compliance with HEDIS hybrid measures. The nurse will assist in the collection and review of medical records, provider outreach, and other project-related activities, ensuring high accuracy in abstraction and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Responsibilities
Ā Review medical records to determine compliant records.

Ā Meet daily abstraction goals and maintain a high abstraction accuracy percentage.

Ā Assist in the preparation and submission of medical records to the HEDIS vendor.

Ā Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify and obtain necessary information.

Ā Coordinate and perform on-site medical record abstraction as needed.
,
Ā Identify difficult providers as well as those who readily send medical records.
,
Ā Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
Requirements
Ā Active nursing license (RN or LPN).

Ā Minimum of 2 years experience with HEDIS Medical Record Review.

Ā In-depth knowledge of HEDIS hybrid measures.

Ā Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Ā Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ā Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
,
Ā Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) and case management systems.
