The American Red Cross is currently seeking a Lead Tele-Fundraising Specialist to support its fundraising efforts. This is a virtual position, and it can be located anywhere in the United States.
- Key Responsibilities
- Developing, implementing, and monitoring all tele-fundraising campaign components.
- Coordinating data management for outbound tele-fundraising programs.
- Reviewing and providing improvement processes to agent calling scripts and talking points.
- Listening to fundraising calls and providing additional training guidance and quality control.
- Compiling fundraising reports, performing analysis and presenting findings to peers and leaders.
- Managing a SharePoint site and all related documents.
- Supporting and setting-up of telethon activities, including regional and national telethons, along with media partners.
- Tracking invoicing and FY budgets with external vendors.
- Creating campaign source codes, QR codes, vanity URLs, and giving links for campaigns.
- Overseeing legal state financial reports.
- Hosting meetings with internal and external partners and designing agendas.
- Ensuring all daily and weekly files are uploaded, distributed, and saved appropriately.
- Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, Advertising, Business, or equivalent field.
- Minimum 5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.
- Requirements
- Demonstrated track record of developing and maintaining operational and process initiatives in support of marketing activities.
- Highly developed leadership, oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to assimilate information quickly, analyze problems, and implement solutions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work on a team.
- May travel and participate in meetings throughout the Red Cross system.

- Fundraising experience with knowledge of best practices and procedures in the industry.
- Background in developing tele-fundraising and donor engagement strategies, especially with individual one-time and sustainer donors.
- Inbound and outbound call center operations knowledge.

- Work history that demonstrates attention to detail, reliability, efficiency, and accuracy.

- Demonstrated research and analytical skills with an ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Advanced level computer skills with the following systems: MS Office applications, Salesforce, Power BI, Webi, Braintree, and various fundraising databases.
Salary Information
The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $90,000. Note that American Red Cross salaries are aligned to the specific geographic location in which the work is primarily performed. Other factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have, and a comparison to other employees already in this role.
