This is a full-time, remote position. Provider must currently be dual-certified as a Family and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in one or more of the following states: CT, GA, NC, ND, NJ, NY, PA, SC, SD, VA, WI, or WV.
The MinuteClinic Virtual Care Family / Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner delivers patient care services through a remote technology platform. You will work in collaboration with a dedicated team of professionals as you independently provide holistic, evidenced based care inclusive of accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning for our patients ranging in age 18 months and above. Encounters are documented utilizing Epic.
- In this full-time role, you will:
- Provide holistic, evidenced-based care inclusive of accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, psychiatric diagnosis and prescribing, mental health counseling and disposition planning for our patients. This includes education and treatment for pregnancy prevention, sexually transmitted infection (STI) Prevention and safer sex practices.
- Serve as a clinical expert and resource for clinical quality initiatives.
- Develop program and provide process improvement insight as a key expert in both roles providing acute care and behavioral health services.
- Provide oversight of behavioral health care, including quality and training to new providers.
- Qualifications
- Must hold both Family and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner certifications in one of the following states: CT, GA, NC, ND, NJ, NY, PA, SC, SD, VA, WI, or WV.
- Minimum of two years of medically-relevant experience or equivalent.
- Depending on the market, the ability to be proficient in both speaking and writing in additional languages not limited to but including Spanish may be required.
- High speed/broadband internet connectivity.
- Requirements
- Master’s Degree level Family Nurse Practitioner and Psych-Mental Health program with current National Board Certification and State of Employment license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse roles required.
