Role Description
- This role involves leading assigned staff in performing activities or tasks for ensuring corporate compliance with regulatory agencies.
- Leads or coordinates shift operations of assigned activities, resources, and/or associates.
- Monitors, advises, and reviews progress of work.
- Reports compliance with policies and/or procedures.
- Oversees and evaluates orientation and training of assigned associates.
- Serves as a technical or functional resource and performs similar duties with staff.
- Conducts routine monthly audits within the assigned department functions to ensure that information in key systems is accurate and that policies and procedures are being followed.
- Prepares reports on monthly audit performance for review by department and company leadership.
- Provides constructive feedback to managers and staff on the various department teams.
- Assists in designing improvement plans and educates staff to instill a culture of continuous improvement across the department.
- Ensures that errors discovered during audits are communicated and corrected promptly.
- Facilitates collaborative work sessions to discuss quality issues, projects, and programs.
- Assists with data analysis and report creation to support the entire Revenue Cycle.
- Performs barrier and root cause analyses to identify improvement opportunities and identify best practices.
- May provide input for hiring, training, leading, and evaluating staff.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent of experience
- Five years’ experience in a health care or health insurance setting
- Requirements
- Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
- Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
- Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.
- Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication.
- Frequent keyboard use/data entry.
- Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.
- Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
- Rare climbing.
