Role Description
- The Sr. IT Security Analyst is responsible for ensuring technical controls meet information security policy requirements; security policy education, training, and awareness activities; monitoring compliance in accordance with DaVita’s information security policies and applicable laws; and coordinating investigation and reporting of security incidents. In conjunction with DaVita Core IT Services, the analyst will:
- Monitor, assess, and fine-tune applicable IT security procedures.
- Perform periodic systems, network, and application vulnerability assessments.
- Create actionable changes or recommendations based on risk assessment reviews or audit findings.
- Mentor other security analysts and IT teammates globally.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in one or more technology domains (Infrastructure, applications development, etc.).
- Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage security for more than one IT functional area (e.g., data, systems, network, and/or Web) across the enterprise.
- Develop and publish Information Security policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines based on knowledge of best practices and compliance requirements.
- Prepare status reports on security matters to develop security risk analysis scenarios and response procedures.
- Track and monitor IT security incidents through to remediation.
- Enforce security policies and procedures by administering and monitoring security profiles.
- Review security violation reports and investigate possible security exceptions.
- Update, maintain, and document security controls.
- Evaluate products and/or procedures to enhance productivity and effectiveness.
- Provide direct support to the business and IT staff for security-related issues.
- Educate IT and the business about security policies and consult on security issues.
- Represent the security needs of the organization by providing expertise and assistance in all IT projects regarding security issues.

Compensation
The Salary Range for the role is $70,000.00 - $106,000.00 per year. Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience.
