Job Title: Independent Contract Multimedia EditorJob Type: Contractual / FreelanceLocation: Remote (Pan India)About the RoleAmerican Journal Experts (AJE), a part of the MPS Group, is a global leader in academic editing and research communication services. We are seeking a talented Independent Contract Multimedia Editor to transform complex scientific concepts into engaging and visually appealing multimedia assets.In this role, you will create Graphical Abstracts and short educational videos (Video Bytes) that effectively communicate research findings while adhering to AJEs brand and quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesVideo BytesDevelop clear, concise, and engaging scripts that summarize academic research for a general audience.Produce short educational videos using stock imagery, footage, and music (e.g., Vimeo Create, Envato).Ensure alignment with AJEs brand guidelines, tone, and visual standards.Incorporate feedback from internal teams and clients to enhance creative output.Graphical AbstractsTranslate complex scientific information into visually engaging graphics for research articles.Create storyboards outlining key concepts and visual flow.Design final deliverables using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or equivalent tools.Conduct self-reviews to ensure clarity, consistency, and compliance with quality standards.Required Skills & QualificationsEducation: Masters degree or higher in Biological Sciences, Clinical Medicine, or other Hard Sciences.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to interpret scientific findings and convert them into concise visual content.Strong understanding of graphic design principles and science communication.Familiarity with scholarly publishing standards and processes.High attention to detail and ability to work independently in a remote environment.Technical SkillsAdobe Creative Cloud: Illustrator, Photoshop, After EffectsVideo Creation Tools: Vimeo Create, Envato, or similar platformsMicrosoft 365: Word, PowerPoint, ExcelExperience in animation, storyboarding, and video editing is highly desirable.#J-18808-Ljbffr
