We are seeking an experienced and skilled IT Help Desk Support Specialist to join our team in the private healthcare sector. As the first point of contact for all IT-related queries, you will provide exceptional technical support, training, and guidance to our users. Key Responsibilities:



  • Provide IT support, training, and orientation for new and existing technology users via phone, live chat, or in-person support

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner, following best practices and adhering to Service Level Agreements (SLAs)

  • Maintain the security, integrity, and availability of our IT infrastructure, ensuring the confidentiality of sensitive data

  • Document daily tasks, training, and support sessions to inform the department and organization of IT support needs

  • Maintain accurate records of hardware and software inventory, and assist with maintaining information security through controlled hardware or software installation and staff education

  • Collaborate with a team of installation, network, security, and support specialists to ensure seamless IT operations

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements, attending workshops and continuing educational courses to enhance your skills and knowledge

Requirements:



  • Recognized industry certification(s) in IT support or a related field

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an IT support role or technology field

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, Windows 11, and experience with Dell/HP and Canon hardware

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure to meet targets and goals

  • Experience in the healthcare sector is desirable, with knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards

  • Competitive salary: £15.50-£16.80 per hour
