Position Overview:


We are seeking an independent contractor to serve as a part-time Salesforce Database Assistant. This is a remote position that reports to the Salesforce Administrator. As a Database Assistant, you will be responsible for managing two executive's contacts, adding new records, enriching existing records, and ensuring data quality.


Essential Job Functions:



  • Database Growth: Add new contact, organization, and event records based on one-off requests and provided lists, including entry directly into Salesforce and preparing lists for import.

  • Record Enrichment: Enrich existing records by bringing in information from other provided sources and looking things up as needed.

  • Improve Data Quality: Identify and cure data quality issues to ensure information is entered consistently across records to meet organizational data accuracy standards and preferred formats.

  • Duplicate Management: Merge duplicate records as identified by other salesforce users and proactively identifying and proposing duplicates to merge.

  • Triaging Requests: Prioritize timely resolution of requests from executives first and other projects second.


Requirements:



  • Existing familiarity with a contact database, preferably Salesforce.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Growth-mindset and interest in further developing Salesforce skills.

  • Responsive and accountable for results.

  • Operates with discretion.

  • Strong English proficiency.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Previous experience in this capacity.

  • Proactive and anticipatory, with a service heart. Ability to think ahead and recognize the needs of Principals and guests.

  • A flexible self-starter who is willing to pitch-in.

  • Ability to build rapport and credibility with Principals, staff, the family office, and vendors.

  • Observes safety and security procedures and uses equipment and materials properly.

  • Maintain safe food and housekeeping practices.
