Role Overview:


We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Aircraft Support Mechanic to join our team at Delta Air Lines. As a critical member of our TechOps crew, you will play a vital role in maintaining the safety and functionality of our fleet, ensuring an exceptional travel experience for our customers. This is an exciting entry-level opportunity to work with experienced Aircraft Maintenance Technicians and develop the skills and knowledge needed to advance your career in the aviation industry.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Perform inspections to identify damage, defects, or wear that may impact safety, reliability, or customer experience

  • Conduct tests on machinery, mechanical equipment, and components to ensure proper functioning

  • Install, remove, or modify aircraft structures, systems, or components following technical guidelines and publications

  • Troubleshoot equipment or system operation problems and recommend repairs or modifications

  • Maintain accurate repair logs and documentation of all maintenance activities

  • Collaborate with Aircraft Maintenance Technicians to accomplish tasks and achieve team goals

Minimum Qualifications:



  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent

  • At least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the United States

  • Valid driver's license

  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Airframe & Powerplant license (preferred but not required)
