• Compensation: Competitive hourly rate ($15.99 - $27.52 per hour)


• Position: Part-time, limited service

The Preschool Program:

Our Preschool Program has been serving the community for over 30 years, providing a play-based curriculum that encourages children to develop social skills, friendships, and memories that will last a lifetime. Our teachers are trained in early childhood development and are dedicated to helping children develop language and social skills in a safe and positive environment.

Responsibilities:

As a Preschool Aide or Preschool Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

• Providing a safe and creative environment for participants


• Establishing positive relationships with children, parents, and staff


• Assisting the teacher in duties performed to implement the program


• Actively participating in activities and trips


• General housekeeping and maintenance of the facility

Requirements:

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have:

• For Preschool Aide: Satisfactory completion of high school or equivalent, with a minimum of one year or season of experience working with preschool-age children


• For Preschool Teacher: Twelve (12) Early Childhood Education units, with a minimum of one year or season of experience working with children in a preschool setting


• Ability to clear TB test and fingerprint check


• Must successfully complete American Red Cross Standard First Aid and CPR/AED training at time of hire, if not already certified
