Job Description:


We're looking for a highly motivated and experienced Lead Data Engineer to join our team. As a Lead Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing advanced data solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring high-quality data management.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Design and develop data items and data warehouses around commitment and maintenance examination and information science

  • Plan and develop versatile information warehousing arrangements, building ETL pipelines in Large Information conditions (cloud, on-prem, crossover)

  • Help engineer data arrangements/structures and define data models for the basic information distribution center and information shops

  • Collaborate with Information Item Chiefs, Information Modelers and Information Architects to design, implement, and deliver successful data arrangements

  • Maintain detailed documentation of your work and changes to ensure data quality and data administration

  • Ensure high operational productivity and quality of your solutions to meet SLAs and support obligation to our clients (Information Science, Information Examination groups)

  • Be a proactive member and supporter of agile/scrum practice to ensure safety and cycle enhancements for your team


Key Capabilities:



  • Strong SQL skills and ability to write queries to extract data and build performant datasets

  • Experience with distributed systems like Hadoop (HDFS, Hive, Voila, PySpark) to query and process data

  • Strong programming skills in Python, Java/Scala

  • Experience with at least one major MPP or cloud database technology (Snowflake, Redshift, Large Query)

  • Strong involvement in data integration toolsets (i.e Wind current) and writing and maintaining Information Pipelines

  • Strong in Data Modeling strategies and Information Warehousing standard systems and practices

  • Experienced with Scrum and Agile approaches

  • You are a problem solver with strong attention to detail and excellent logical and relational skills

  • Ideal to have experience with Cloud advances like AWS (S3, EMR, EC2)
