Logistics Operator II (Warehouse)
About the position
- Responsibilities
- Safely move product using powered industrial equipment.
- Fill orders from tickets according to set quotas.
- Operate powered industrial equipment while following safety policies.
- Verify all incoming and outgoing products and materials.
- Stack loads properly and rotate products/materials correctly.
- Manually fill orders by walking and using pallet jacks or riding jacks.
- Identify products by description and quantity, and carry them to the staging area.
- Check for accuracy in picking and perform general housekeeping duties.
- Complete daily powered equipment inspection forms.
- Read customer orders and determine items to be moved or distributed.
- Sort and place materials on pallets according to predetermined sequences.
- Mark materials with identifying information and record amounts received or distributed.
- Count items for distribution to ensure conformance to company standards.
- Maintain and clean powered equipment, including scrubbers, as required.
- Requirements
- Minimum age of 18 years old.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within company guidelines.
- Ability to maintain safety and security of company assets.
- Ability to utilize all company-provided resources and technology.
- Less than high school education or up to 1 month of related experience or training.
- Forklift and electric riding pallet jack experience preferred.
- Ability to repeatedly grasp, stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to effectively adapt to change and demonstrate initiative.
- Willingness to work weekends, holidays, or a flexible schedule as required.
