Job Overview
We are seeking licensed physicians (MDs or DOs) to conduct telehealth evaluations for medical cannabis certifications. While we prioritize "super-providers" who hold active licenses in multiple states, candidates applying for our Georgia operations must be physically located within the state of Georgia during all patient evaluations to comply with new regulations.
- Responsibilities
- Conduct Telehealth Evaluations: Use our proprietary, HIPAA-compliant platform to perform video consultations and determine patient eligibility for medical marijuana.
- Review Records: Evaluate medical history and state-specific applications to ensure full compliance with local regulations.
- Patient Education: Answer questions regarding the therapeutic benefits of cannabis and its role as an alternative to traditional pharmaceuticals.
- Certification: Issue legal certifications through the appropriate state portals.
- Qualifications
- Medical Degree: MD or DO from an accredited institution.
- Active Licensure: Must hold a valid, unrestricted license in Georgia
- Multi-State Preference: Candidates licensed in multiple additional states (e.g., AZ, AR, CA, CT, GA, IL, IA, LA, MA, MI, MN, MO, NV, NY, OH, OK, PA, TX, VA, WV) are strongly preferred.
- State Registrations: Must possess (or be eligible for) a Controlled Substances Registration (if applicable) and be registered with the state's Medical Use of Marijuana Program.
- Telehealth Proficiency: Experience conducting high-quality video evaluations is required.
- Cannabis Expertise: Deep knowledge of medicinal cannabis benefits, drug interactions, and state-specific legal protocols.
