About the position

    Responsibilities
  • Provide crisis stabilization services to individuals experiencing a mental health crisis while at the Sunrise House
  • Interacts routinely with clients in a positive and supportive manner
  • Monitors and documents observations of client treatment, activities, and behaviors
  • Supports clients in completing activities of daily living
  • Utilizes deescalating skills in intense situations
  • Supports consumers in achieving treatment goals, medication compliance, crisis management, monitor client one to one for safety or as needed
  • Work towards successful reintegration of consumers back into their home, community, school and outpatient/community mental health services
  • Complete all required documentation, training and competency reviews in a timely and accurate manner as defined by the agency
  • Other activities as assigned
    Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Computer proficiency
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Familiarity with community mental health services
    Nice-to-haves
  • Two years or more professional experience in mental health services, crisis response, or a related field
  • Two years or more of experience working with educating and teaching clients about self-care, improving daily living activities
