All Jobs > Sales Development Representative Metrc, LLC Apply Sales Development Representative REMOTE WORKER Apply Description As a Sales Development Representative at Metrc, you will play a critical role in our growth and business development efforts. This position focuses heavily on outbound phone sales, requiring a high volume of proactive dials (approximately 100 per day) to connect with mid-level cannabis licensees. You will be responsible for qualifying leads, handling objections, and conducting high-level product demos. Your goal is to guide potential clients toward webinars and hand them off to a specialist for further development. Requirements KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Core duties and responsibilities include the following. ยท Make a high volume of outbound calls (up to 100 per day) to mid-tier cannabis licensees, focusing on warm leads. ยท Use Salesforce to track, document, and follow up on leads. ยท Qualify leads and assess their potential for conversion. ยท Conduct high-level demos and deliver positioning statements using a predefined talk track. ยท Handle objections effectively and push clients toward further engagement, such as webinars or meetings with specialists. ยท Collaborate closely with the Growth and Customer Success teams, ensuring seamless handoffs and consistent follow-up. ยท Participate in role-playing and objection-handling training sessions to refine sales techniques. ยท Use templated emails and scripts provided, ensuring consistent communication across all channels. ยท May perform other additional duties and responsibilities as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS- KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES ยท 1โ2 years of experience in a high-volume outbound sales, call center, or lead-generation environment required. ยท Experience working with Salesforce or other CRM tools preferred. ยท Experience in SaaS, GovTech, cannabis industry, or other regulated industries a plus but not required. EDUCTIONAL BACKGROUND ยท Bachelorโs degree preferred in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. ยท High school diploma or equivalent required. ยท Equivalent combination of education and directly relevant work experience will be considered.
