Mid-Level Civil Engineer

Job Description: • Perform civil engineering reviews and analyses to understand power projects • Assist with civil engineering reviews, including storm water drainage, sanitary sewer systems, road design, and earthwork • Support preparation and review of site layout, grading, and preliminary drainage designs • Prepare and review technical specifications to define construction requirements • Work with senior consultants to advise power project developers • Evaluate new power and infrastructure projects independently to support financing • Develop technical reports for applicable audiences – including owners, developers, governmental agencies and committees, and financiers Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering • 3+ years of experience in design techniques, tools, and principles involved in the production of technical plans, drawings, calculations, and models • 1+ years of experience in detailed design of site grading and drainage, storm sewer systems, road design, transport plans, track design, and ponds • Power plant (combined cycle, simple cycle, nuclear, wind, solar) project design experience • Experience in writing and providing support documentation for Civil Engineering specifications or calculations • Ability to work in a team environment • Ability to prioritize multiple parallel, fast-paced tasks within schedule and assigned budget • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical evaluation report writing • Proficiency with civil engineering software programs such as Civil 3D, StormCad, PondPack, and Mircrostation or AutoCad • Must be capable of working in geospatially located tools.
