Music Marketing Manager for Pop Artist

Remote, USA Full-time Posted 2026-05-31
Apply Now

I'm an independent pop artist with a backlog of music video footage from multiple unreleased songs, ready to be cut, posted, and turned into a real audience on Instagram (and eventually Spotify).

I AM LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO HAS ALREADY DONE THIS AND CAN HELP ME SCALE: I'm looking for one person who can own the entire content-to-growth pipeline — not just post what I send them, but actually build the brand, edit the content, and grow the following.

This is a long-term role for the right person. Starting hourly so we can both see if it's a fit, transitioning to a monthly retainer after the first 30–60 days if we're working well together.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Editing my existing music video footage into short-form Reels (multiple cuts per song — hooks, performance moments, B-roll edits, lyric clips)

Running my Instagram day-to-day: posting schedule, captions, hashtags, Stories, Reels strategy

Helping shape my visual brand and aesthetic across the page so it feels cohesive

Building a content calendar around my upcoming releases

Tracking what's working in analytics and adjusting (followers from non-followers, save rate, share rate — not just likes)

Coordinating with my Spotify rollout when songs drop (pre-saves, Canvas, profile updates)

Staying on top of trending audio, formats, and what's working for pop artists right now

WHO I AM LOOKING FOR:

You've actually grown a music artist's Instagram before — not just a brand or e-commerce account. Music is its own thing.

You can show me real before/after numbers from past artist clients (followers, reach, engagement rate)

You're a strong short-form video editor — CapCut, Premiere, or whatever your tool is — and have a feel for hooks in the first 2 seconds

You understand pop as a genre and can point to artists you've worked with or studied closely

You have taste. I can teach you my voice, but I can't teach you taste.

You're communicative and reliable — I need someone I can hand a folder of footage to and trust that something great comes back

TO APPLY PLEASE INCLUDE:

2–3 specific case studies of music artists you've grown. Include starting follower count, ending follower count, timeframe, and the Instagram handle so I can actually see the work.

Links to 3 Reels you edited that you're proud of (ideally for a music artist)

One sentence answering this: What would you do in the first 30 days with an artist who has tons of unedited music video footage and a small Instagram presence?
