Job description: THE LITTLE GYM of Fruit Cove is seeking Youth Coaches, instructors, trainers who really like kids to join our staff. The right candidate will be responsible for organizing and leading fitness/gymnastics/dance related activities that involve children ages 4 months-12 years. We desire a personable individual who has experience in sports and is also capable of teaching physical activity classes in an engaging way.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Greet members and guests promptly and enthusiastically, every time, to continue our high-spirited, positive environment
Register/check-in all guests
Lead classes in all age groups
Strong work ethic, lead by example
Meet sales goals through membership sales, retail, and renewals
Ensure TLG branding through consistency and continuity in all actions
Follow up and follow through with all prospective members.
Work closely with trainers to ensure that members have a first-class experience every time they visit
Ensures that all front desk systems are followed such as proper Member Check-In, Telephone Inquiries (general and sales-related), Guest Registration, Cash Handling, Delinquent Account Procedures, Customer Service Calls, Membership Change Requests, etc.
Responsible for ensuring that the facility is clean, maintained and operationally sound.
Skills/Qualifications:
Sales Experience a plus
Must have a passion for making an impact on children's lives.
Must be attentive, outgoing, positive, friendly and engaging
Must have outstanding customer service skills
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to work as a team with other Sales Representatives and Trainers and Instructors
Health- and fitness-minded applicants are preferred
The Little Gym offers competitive compensation with hourly base pay plus commission. Scheduled shifts are dependent on class times and will be discussed to find a suitable schedule but can range from morning hours, afternoon, and evening hours, and weekend hours.

**TRAINING / DEVELOPMENT:
Continual coaching development, evaluations, and training allow you to be cutting edge and up to date with the latest developments in training techniques & coaching philosophy through our age specific development milestones. Our goal for your development is to provide the best possible learning environment for our members. Weekly lesson plans; mandatory in-service training. As well as Sales training, you will be responsible for generating new clients by selling gym memberships.
Our staff undergo a thorough hiring process including in-depth assessment and comprehensive background checks.
Previous experience in the Fitness Industry is great, but not required. If you've had a successful track record in sales in other fields and if you are an overachiever and can prove it, then we'd like to meet you
