Location: Remote (Must hold FL School Social Work License)
Schedule: 24 Hours/Week
Grade Levels: Middle & High School
School Year: 2025–2026
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Haitian Creole bilingual School Social Worker to join a virtual team supporting students across Florida. This part-time, remote role serves middle and high school students and involves collaboration with Special Education teachers to meet students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Provide virtual counseling and social-emotional support to students.
- Collaborate with Special Education staff to support IEP goals and services.
- Conduct assessments and maintain documentation in accordance with district and state requirements.
- Engage in family outreach and effectively communicate with Haitian Creole–speaking families.
- Participate in IEP and team meetings virtually.
- Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW).
- Valid Florida School Social Work license or eligibility.
- Fluency in Haitian Creole (required).
- Experience in school-based settings preferred.
- Strong communication and virtual collaboration skills.
