Organizational Facilitator
The Right Kind of Black Girl Inc. (TRKBG) is a women-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2018 by Shambria Williams. Our mission is to empower Black women and girls from the Afrikan diaspora, ages 15 to 60, through fostering unity, advancement, and holistic well-being. TRKBG envisions a world where Black women and girls thrive, breaking free from economic, gender, and racial barriers. We focus on sisterhood, leadership, innovation, and service to uplift individuals and communities, with a commitment to creating pathways from generational poverty to a life of wholeness and greatness.
Role Description
This is a volunteer, remote position for an Organizational Facilitator with The Right Kind of Black Girl. The Organizational Facilitator will be responsible for planning and facilitating workshops, events, and programs aligned with the organization’s mission, ensuring collaborative discussions and inclusive engagement. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with team members, developing facilitation strategies, organizing virtual meeting logistics, and addressing the specific needs of the participants to create a positive and impactful experience.
- Qualifications
- Experience in Workshop Facilitation, Event Coordination, and Program Planning
- Strong Communication, Active Listening, and Conflict Resolution Skills
- Proficiency in Virtual Meeting Platforms, Scheduling Tools, and Basic Tech Skills
- Commitment to Equity, Inclusion, and Social Justice
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in a diverse and dynamic team setting
- Prior volunteer experience in nonprofit or community organizations is a plus
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
- Passion for empowering Black women and girls through meaningful initiatives
