For additional information on remote work at Penn State, see .JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus Office of Outreach and Continuing Education invites applications from individuals interested in teaching Non-Credit classes. Various short-term courses, in a variety of health and safety topic areas, will be offered during the day, evening, and on weekends at the campus in Lemont Furnace or at selected off campus locations. Classes can meet one or more days per week and the length of class time can vary from a minimum of 2 hours to a maximum of 8 hours per day.Instructors will be needed in the following subject areas:
- Emergency services training and education
- Healthcare
- Safety
- Other first responder-oriented courses (such as law enforcement and rescue programs) to professionals and entry level workers in various industries and occupations.
- Instructors should have proper credentials and certifications as required by the specific training program along with work experience in the program content area.
- Teaching experience with adult students is preferred.
- Employment with the University for this job will require successful completion of the Pennsylvania (PA) Publicly Available Clearances: PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check, and the FBI Criminal History Background Check.
