Job Description:
The Call Center Nurse RN plays a vital role in triaging calls, educating patients, and supporting clinical teams remotely. You’ll use evidence-based protocols and your clinical judgment to provide care recommendations and urgent guidance. This role is ideal for nurses who excel in communication, critical thinking, and delivering patient-centered care without being on-site.
- Responsibilities:
- Provide remote nursing triage and support via phone or digital platforms
- Assess patient needs using approved clinical guidelines and protocols
- Deliver timely, accurate health education and advice to patients
- Collaborate with providers and other healthcare team members as needed
- Document interactions accurately in the electronic health record system
- Assist with prescription refills, follow-up care instructions, and care coordination
- Requirements:
- Active, unrestricted RN license in the state of residence (multi-state license preferred)
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience (telehealth experience is a plus)
- Strong communication and patient engagement skills
- Reliable internet connection and private, quiet workspace
- Ability to work part-time hours, including some weekends or evenings
- Proficient with EMR systems and telehealth tools
