Part-Time Treasury & Accounts Payable Specialist (Florida-Based)
About the Role
We’re seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Treasury & Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team on a flexible part-time basis. This role is ideal for an experienced professional who is comfortable managing money movement, transfers, and accounts payable workflows for a growing business. You’ll support critical financial operations that require accuracy, timeliness, and discretion.
- Key Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day treasury functions, including initiating and confirming domestic wire transfers, ACH payments, and internal transfers
- Manage and process accounts payable, including vendor bills, payment approvals, and disbursements
- Maintain accurate records of payments and reconciliations
- Assist with cash flow tracking and forecasting support
- Coordinate with vendors, banks, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely payment processing
- Support month-end closing tasks related to payables and treasury
- Respond to payment-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial procedures
- Qualifications
- Based in Florida (this is a requirement)
- 3+ years of experience in treasury operations, accounts payable, or similar financial roles
- Strong understanding of banking platforms, QuickBooks, and general accounting principles
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- High attention to detail and discretion when handling sensitive financial information
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
- Schedule & Compensation
- Part-time: 10–20 hours per week, with flexibility based on business needs
- Remote position (must be located in Florida)
- $30+ per hour, commensurate with experience
