Partnership Tax Professional - Contractor *Remote* - FSO
- RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and review complex U.S. partnership tax returns (Form 1065) and related K‑1s for investment partnerships, including hedge funds and fund‑of‑funds structures
- Analyze and apply partnership allocations, including 704(b)/(c), capital accounts, and partner reporting for multi‑tier entities
- Support FSO clients with complex investment income, expense allocations, and disclosures, ensuring accuracy and timeliness during peak filing periods
- Collaborate with engagement teams to resolve technical partnership tax issues and respond to internal review comments efficiently
- Utilize EY tax technology and standardized workpapers while adhering to contractor compliance and independence requirements

Qualifications
- QUALIFICATIONS
- CPA required with strong experience in partnership tax compliance.
- 7+ years of partnership tax experience gained within Top 10 or Top 15 public accounting firms (required).
- Demonstrated experience supporting investment partnerships, hedge funds, or asset management clients.
- Deep knowledge of Form 1065, K‑1 reporting, and complex partnership structures and allocations.
- Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment while meeting tight deadlines during busy season.
- Prior experience supporting FSO clients is strongly preferred
The hourly rate for this role ranges from $70 - $120 per hour, depending on level and location. Managers must hold an active CPA license. Compensation is based on experience, role scope, and geographic location.
EY's Tax Busy Season Contractors are paid an hourly rate, and receive over-time pay. Most teams average 40 -50 hours/week during busy season- specific expectations around hours are discussed during the interview process for each role. This role is able to be worked remotely from within the United States.
