About the position

Recruit top talent for the hotel, focusing on both salaried and hourly positions across the portfolio.
Coordinate pre-selection activities, including reference checks and background checks.
Direct and support hotel leaders with recruiting processes to ensure effective hiring and retention.
Onboard new hires and lead orientation sessions to help them acclimate to the hotel environment.
Support associate performance management by analyzing assessments and ensuring feedback is appropriate.
Establish relationships with hotel teams to drive engagement and collaboration.
Partner with managers to develop associates through training programs.
Review current methods and make recommendations for improvement to management staff.
Support colleague appreciation and recognition efforts by planning and executing activities.
Guide and counsel the hotel management team on employee relations concerns, seeking mutually beneficial solutions.
Manage the administration of wages and benefits at the property level, addressing colleague concerns.
Ensure compliance with state and federal HR laws and regulations.

1-2 years of HR experience, particularly in recruiting, onboarding, and employee engagement.
Hotel operations or hospitality experience is preferred.
Strong collaboration skills and a passion for supporting others.
Ability to multi-task and manage several projects simultaneously.
Proactive and creative mindset with fresh ideas for execution.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
