THE ROLE: ELITE IVY LEAGUE MENTOR

As an Elite Ivy League Mentor at Ignite Test Prep, you will be the cornerstone of our proprietary 4-Step Process. You will work directly with a select roster of high-achieving and high-potential students, guiding them through a rigorous, transformative 90-day initial intensive — and beyond.

Your mission is singular: to construct an undeniable student profile that compels admissions officers at top-tier institutions to say yes.

    CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Direct Winner Mentorship & Cognitive Optimization
    Deliver 1-on-1, high-impact lessons focused on SAT/ACT mastery, AP course dominance, and GPA optimization utilizing our 24/7 GPA Engine framework. Go beyond standard test prep. Implement avant-garde techniques to enhance student processing power, speed, and critical thinking — drawing upon deep research from the foundations of logic to modern cognitive science — to make our students faster than lightning with their minds. Guide students through our proprietary Black Book frameworks to achieve top 1% grades and test scores, demystifying the mechanics of elite performance.
  • Strategic Profile Engineering & Admissions Navigation
    Help students craft compelling, deeply authentic narratives for their college applications. Provide crystal-clear direction on personal essays, supplemental essays, and how to demonstrate genuine passion in a way that admissions officers cannot ignore — eliminating the reliance on generic AI tools that produce forgettable, undifferentiated work. Leverage our exhaustive, branded databases to connect students with the most exclusive, high-value internships, competitions, and research programs in the country. Facilitate student integration into our Spiderweb Mentor Matrix, fostering a mentor multiplication effect that accelerates their growth exponentially.
  • Luxury Client Experience & Communication

Provide a white-glove consulting experience for both the student and their parents. Maintain proactive, transparent, and sophisticated communication regarding progress, strategy, and milestones. Represent the Ignite Test Prep brand — characterized by excellence, exclusivity, and undeniable results. Build deep trust with families, positioning Ignite Test Prep as the ultimate, primary resource for their child's academic success.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: A VANGUARD OF KNOWLEDGE

We are not looking for average. We are looking for the exceptional 1%.

University:
Ivy League or equivalent — Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Columbia, Penn, Brown, Dartmouth, Cornell, Stanford, MIT, UChicago, or Duke.

Test Score:
99th percentile SAT or ACT. Perfect scorers are highly preferred.

Teaching Experience:
2+ years of tutoring, mentoring, or instructional experience with measurable results.

Communication:
Exceptional written and verbal communication. You can inspire, motivate, and hold the attention of a teenager for 90 minutes and leave them wanting more.

Mindset:
Relentless pursuit of excellence. You operate with a Michelin star mentality — good enough is the enemy of great, and you know it.

Availability:
Minimum 5 to 10 hours per week with flexible scheduling to accommodate student time zones across the US.
