Position Overview
We are seeking U.S. board-certified physicians to join our med-legal consulting panel on a case-by-case basis. Work assignments are dependent on case availability, physician specialty, and the geographic location of cases. This role offers flexible scheduling and premium compensation.
- Key Responsibilities
- Review of medical records and legal case materials
- Prepare clear, concise, and defensible written medical reports
- Participate in case consultations and conferences
- Provide expert testimony or depositions, as requested
- Maintain strict objectivity, professionalism, and compliance with legal standards
- Work Assignments
- Assignments vary based on case type, volume, and location
- Opportunities may be remote or in-person, depending on case requirements
- Scheduling coordinated in advance based on physician availability
Compensation
Varies per hour, depending on specialty, experience, and case complexity. Compensation is structured per case, report, or engagement.
- Required Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- U.S. board certification in your specialty (REQUIRED)
- Active, unrestricted U.S. medical license
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and produce detailed, well-supported medical opinions
- Prior med-legal or expert witness experience preferred but not required
