We're launching a new business podcast called 120 Octane — interviews with founders and operators who built AI systems that actually work. We've recorded our first two episodes and need a podcast editor to take them from raw Riverside files to polished, ready-to-publish episodes.

Timeline: Both episodes edited and finalized by May 31, 2026. Episode 1 first, Episode 2 second.

About the show:

30-40 minute interview format. Two co-hosts plus one guest per episode. Conversational tone. Think Lenny's Podcast or My First Million for production quality.

What you'll receive:

Raw Riverside.fm exports — separate audio and video tracks for each speaker, recorded locally (high quality). Plus an intro music bed and host-recorded voiceover intro.

What we need from you per episode:

Audio editing: noise reduction, level balancing, removing filler words, awkward pauses, and any flubs

Video editing: multi-camera cuts between speakers, sync audio to video, basic color correction

Add intro music and voiceover (assets provided)

Add lower thirds for guest name/title at intro

Add outro with call to action

Identify 3-5 short clips (60-90 seconds each) suitable for LinkedIn and YouTube Shorts

Deliver final episode as MP3 (audio) and MP4 (video, 1080p)

Deliver clips as vertical MP4s (9:16) with captions burned in

What we're looking for:

Proven podcast editing experience — please share 2-3 examples of full episodes you've edited

Comfortable working with Riverside.fm exports

Experience editing both audio and video podcasts (interview format)

Clean, broadcast-quality output

Native English speaker preferred (you'll need to catch verbal flubs and pacing issues)

Available to start this week and committed to the May 31 deadline

Bonus skills:

Captions/transcript generation

Show notes drafting

Experience with Descript

Motion graphics for clip animations

To apply, please include:

Two links to podcast episodes you've fully edited (audio or video)

Your rate (per episode or hourly — we're open to either)

Your turnaround time for one episode

Confirmation you can deliver both episodes by May 31

If this goes well, we'll move into an ongoing relationship for 2 episodes per month.

Thanks for reading. Looking forward to your application.
