I host Where We Go Next, a long-form interview show featuring authors, scientists, founders, and creators. It’s a general-interest podcast, where each week’s conversation is shaped by the guest—covering everything from science and philosophy to culture and technology. I’m looking for part-time help from a thoughtful, reliable virtual assistant to grow the show. The first priority is booking high-quality guests, with future support focused on social media and audience growth.

What You’ll Help With (in priority order):

1.Guest Booking

  • Research potential guests who align with the show’s themes
  • Draft and send personalized outreach emails
  • Schedule interviews using Calendly (my current workflow)
  • Coordinate follow-ups and prep guests as needed

2. Show Growth

  • Suggest podcast growth strategies or help implement ones you’ve seen work
  • Brainstorm partnerships, outreach, or repurposing content for reach
  • Help me track results or audience trends over time

3. Social Media Promotion

  • Write and schedule episode promos for Instagram and X
  • Repurpose quotes or ideas into posts
  • Bonus: If you’re comfortable creating simple audiograms (I use Descript + Canva)

⏳ Scope & Hours

  • This is a part-time role to start: ~5–10 hours per week
  • May grow to 10–15 hours/week depending on results
  • I’m open to your systems, but for now, I’d like to keep using Calendly and Google Docs for scheduling and planning

✅ Ideal Candidate Has:

  • Excellent written English and professional communication skills
  • Experience booking podcast guests, running outreach campaigns, or managing a show
  • A proactive, curious approach — you notice opportunities and ask thoughtful questions
  • Familiarity with tools like Descript, Canva, Instagram, and X (preferred, not required)

To Apply, Please Include:

  • Your weekly availability
  • A few sample outreach emails you’ve written — ideally ones that booked notable or hard-to-reach guests
  • Anything else that shows you understand my show and how you could help move it forward

This is a long-term role, and I’m looking for someone I can build with over time. If you’re thoughtful, resourceful, and love podcasts, I’d love to hear from you.
