Police Records Technician I
- Provide audit, entry, indexing, storage, maintenance, retrieval, and dissemination of Police Department records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws, ordinances, rules, and regulations
- Collect monies for the sale of police reports and photographic fees when applicable
- Perform related duties as assigned
**Qualifications:**
* High school diploma or equivalent with one year experience of related duties is preferred - Ability to maintain multiple computer systems at one time
- Must be able to work rapidly, accurately, and process cash record sales according to procedure
- Requires ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, and demonstrate initiative within established guidelines
- Must pass a typing test (35 wpm) and a written examination on the Missouri Sunshine Laws
- Must complete NIMS training and be MULES certified within the first six months of hiring
- Background check, drug test, polygraph test, oral board interview, and psychological examination required
