Job Title: Senior PPC Specialist – Google Search & Lead Generation

Role Overview
We are seeking a highly specialized Search Ads Expert to join our remote digital agency. Unlike generalist roles, this position is laser-focused on Google Search, Bing, and Yahoo Ads with a primary objective of high-quality Lead Generation.
You will not just run ads; you will own the technical tracking infrastructure and actively audit landing pages to improve conversion rates. We need a self-starter who thrives in a remote environment, takes full ownership of their tasks, and requires minimal supervision.
- Key Focus Areas (Your Core Competencies)
- Search Engine Dominance: Expert-level command of Google Ads (Search), Microsoft Ads (Bing), and Yahoo Search.
- Lead Gen Mastery: Proven track record of managing aggressive CPL (Cost Per Lead) targets and improving Lead Quality.
- Technical Tracking: Deep proficiency in setting up conversion tracking via Google Tag Manager (GTM) and GA4.
- CRO & Auditing: Ability to critique and provide actionable advice on landing page UI/UX to maximize conversions.
Key Responsibilities
- 1. Advanced Search Campaign Management
- Plan, execute, and scale high-performance Search campaigns across Google, Bing, and Yahoo.
- Execute granular keyword research with a heavy focus on Negative Keyword lists to filter out irrelevant traffic and waste.
- Manage distinct campaigns for Lead Generation, focusing on lowering CPL while maintaining lead quality.
- 2. Technical Setup & Analytics
- End-to-End Tracking: Take full ownership of setting up conversion tracking pixels, tags, and triggers using Google Tag Manager (GTM) and Google Analytics 4 (GA4).
- Troubleshoot tracking errors to ensure data accuracy between CRM and Ad platforms.
- Implement offline conversion tracking (OCT) where necessary to bridge the gap between leads and closed sales.
- 3. Landing Page & CRO Audits
- Analyze landing page performance and user behavior.
- Provide specific recommendations to the design/dev team regarding Landing Page optimization (headlines, CTA placement, form length, page speed) to improve Quality Score and Conversion Rate.
- 4. Reporting & Optimization
- Monitor Search Impression Share, Click-Through Rates (CTR), and Conversion Rates daily.
- Create comprehensive reports highlighting ROI, ROAS, and CPL trends.
- Conduct A/B testing on ad copy (RSAs) and bid strategies (Target CPA vs. Max Conversions).
- Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience strictly in PPC/Search Marketing (Agency experience preferred).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
- Core Expertise:
- Mastery of Google Ads Editor and Microsoft Advertising Editor.
- Strong understanding of Google Tag Manager (GTM) and GA4.
- Experience managing budgets for Lead Generation clients (Service-based industries, B2B, Real Estate, etc.).
- Remote Readiness:
- Must have a professional remote workstation with a reliable internet connection.
- Proven ability to manage time effectively and communicate asynchronously.
- High level of accountability; you take ownership of client performance without needing micro-management.
- Preferred Certifications:
- Google Ads Search Certification (Current).
- Google Analytics (GA4) Certification.
