Pre-Litigation Employment Attorney | 100% Remote
About the position
- Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-litigation tasks and intake processes for new clients
- Follow up and ensure all required documents are collected in a timely manner
- Draft and negotiate various legal documents
- Handle individual FEHA and wage & hour cases
- Manage case files using Case Management Software
- Use skills in Civil Litigation and Employment Law to serve clients' needs
- Handle plaintiff or defense cases as required
- Resolve client inquiries and maintain accurate client records
- Use Document Management and Conveyancer skills to manage and organize case files
- Handle complaint handling and consumer electronics related cases when necessary
- Requirements
- Must hold a professional law degree (Juris Doctor) from an accredited university
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in Case Management Software and Document Management
- Knowledge of Conveyancer software is a plus
- Experience in Briefing, Civil Litigation, and Complaint Handling
- Familiarity with Consumer Electronics and Employment Law - Employee
- Proven track record in Pre-Litigation and Litigation - Plaintiff
- Must be admitted to the Bar in the state of practice
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- High level of professionalism and ethical standards
- Must possess strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Must be licensed in CA
