Program Assistant (Spanish Speaker)
About the position
- Responsibilities
- Prioritize front-line communication with prospective and current clients, focusing on Spanish-speaking clients.
- Provide high-quality legal services, including eligibility screening and case updates.
- Assist in planning and executing virtual and in-person citizenship workshops.
- Manage data tracking and reporting after citizenship workshops and for general database maintenance.
- Collaborate with the Program Team to update and maintain database systems and standard operating procedures.
- Requirements
- Fluency in Spanish is required.
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- 2 years of applicable experience or some post-high school coursework.
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
- Expert attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and with diverse individuals.
- Demonstrated independence and ability to take initiative.
- Nice-to-haves
- Proficiency in another language such as Haitian Creole, Portuguese, Mandarin, Cantonese, Cape Verdean Creole, or Arabic is a plus.
- Knowledge of Salesforce and Microsoft Suite is highly preferred.
