About the position

    Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee the planning, execution, and successful completion of projects for the Medicare Stars and Health Equity team.
  • Define project scope, objectives, and timelines, allocate resources, and manage project budgets.
  • Monitor project progress, identify and address issues and risks, and adjust project plans as necessary.
  • Engage with project stakeholders, including internal teams, external partners, community organizations, and local markets.
  • Evaluate resource allocation and develop change management plans and strategies to minimize resistance.
  • Prepare and deliver project progress reports, highlighting achievements, risks, and mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and adhere to project requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal and external business partners to provide leadership, functional advice, and training.
    Requirements
  • 3-5 years working in communities or conducting community outreach.
  • Subject matter expertise in health equity, population health, public policy, community organizing and advocacy, or non-profit management.
  • Experience gathering feedback from community stakeholders and using it to inform programmatic practices.
    Nice-to-haves
  • Over 2+ years experience with community event planning and member engagement strategies.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in public health or related field.
  • Experience managing clinical or health equity initiatives or managing event planning for members.
