Apparel Production Manager / Product Developer (Stretch & Shapewear)

I am seeking an experienced Apparel Production Manager or Product Developer with a background in stretch, shapewear, or performance garments to support the development of a posture-support apparel product.

This is a functional, performance-driven product—not fashion-only. The focus is on sourcing, coordination, and execution of high-quality prototypes.

What You’ll Help With

• Sourcing and vetting qualified prototype/sample makers

• Advising on fabrics, trims, and construction for stretch/compression garments

• Guiding and coordinating the sampling process

• General production and development coordination

Ideal Background

• Experience with shapewear, lingerie, swimwear, or performancewear

• Strong understanding of stretch/compression fabrics

• Vendor sourcing and sample room coordination

• Cut-and-sew production knowledge

Engagement Details

• Freelance / short-term contract (with potential to extend)

• Remote (U.S.-based preferred)

• Hourly rate: $60–100/hr, depending on experience and network

• Flexible hours, project-based scope
