Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) for a full-time role with school districts in the area.
Responsibilities...
Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Collect and record data on student behavior and progress.
Work one-on-one with students to teach and reinforce desired behaviors.
Support students in developing social, communication, and adaptive skills.
Assist in the development of instructional materials and activities.
Participate in team meetings to discuss student progress and plan interventions.
Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other school staff.
Ensure a safe and supportive learning environment for all students.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelors degree in a related field preferred.
Current RBT certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
Experience working with children with special needs, particularly those with autism spectrum disorder.
Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with a team of educators and support staff.
Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students succeed.
