Regulatory Counsel (State Licensed)
A company is looking for a Regulatory Counsel to serve as a key in-house advisor across regulatory compliance, privacy, and new product functions.
- Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary in-house advisor on financial services regulation and support bank partner relationships on compliance matters
- Manage ongoing Terms of Service updates and oversee privacy tools and compliance initiatives
- Provide legal support for product launches and partner with various teams on regulatory assessments throughout the product lifecycle
- Required Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school and active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- 5-8 years of legal experience, preferably in fintech or regulated financial services
- 2+ years of law firm experience
- Hands-on experience with financial services regulations and privacy laws
- Familiarity with legal operations tools is a plus
