Job Summary:


We are looking for a results-driven Business Development Manager to find and acquire new clients from the US and European markets. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in business development, lead generation, and sales, with a strong understanding of patent litigation, patent analytics, searching, and landscape.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Identify and acquire new clients from US and European companies, law firms, and other potential organizations

  • Research the market to identify potential clients and key decision-makers

  • Utilize cold calling, email marketing, and LinkedIn to connect with potential clients and build relationships

  • Understand client needs and offer tailored solutions for patent litigation, patent analytics, searching, landscape, and other related projects

  • Collaborate with the founder and executive team to develop effective sales strategies and meet sales targets

  • Manage the entire sales process, from lead generation to closing deals, and ensure a smooth transition for new clients

  • Build and manage a team of business development professionals to expand the client base

  • Report directly to the founder and provide regular updates on sales activities


Requirements:



  • At least 3-5 years of experience in business development and lead generation in the US and European markets, preferably in the legal intellectual property industry

  • Proven success in finding leads through cold calling, email marketing, LinkedIn, or similar approaches

  • Good understanding of patent litigation, patent analytics, searching, landscape, and other related projects

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably within the education sector

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills

  • Strong problem-solving abilities

  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
