Our client, a leading innovator in educational technology, is seeking a passionate and creative Remote Curriculum Developer specializing in K-12 STEM subjects. This fully remote position allows you to shape the future of education from anywhere in the US. You will be responsible for designing engaging, standards-aligned curriculum materials that foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and a deep understanding of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics concepts for students in kindergarten through twelfth grade. Your expertise will be crucial in developing innovative learning experiences that cater to diverse learning styles and promote a lifelong love for STEM.

Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and revise K-12 STEM curriculum, ensuring alignment with national and state educational standards (e.g., NGSS, Common Core). Create comprehensive lesson plans, instructional materials, assessments, and interactive digital content that are engaging and effective. Integrate project-based learning, inquiry-based approaches, and real-world applications into curriculum design. Collaborate with subject matter experts, instructional designers, educators, and product managers to ensure curriculum quality and relevance. Develop learning objectives and assessment strategies that accurately measure student understanding and progress. Research and incorporate best practices in pedagogy, learning science, and STEM education into curriculum development. Adapt existing curriculum materials for various learning platforms and delivery methods, including online and blended learning environments. Review and evaluate curriculum effectiveness through pilot programs and feedback analysis. Create supplementary resources, such as teacher guides, student activity sheets, and multimedia assets. Maintain a strong understanding of current trends and advancements in K-12 STEM education and educational technology. Ensure all developed materials are accessible and inclusive for all learners.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Education, Curriculum and Instruction, STEM Education, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or teaching K-12 STEM subjects. Deep understanding of K-12 curriculum frameworks, learning theories, and pedagogical approaches. Proven ability to create engaging, effective, and standards-aligned instructional materials. Experience with educational technology tools and platforms for curriculum delivery and assessment. Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize information from various sources. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for clear and concise content creation. Ability to work independently, manage projects effectively, and meet deadlines in a remote setting. Experience in developing digital learning content is highly desirable.
