The role involves providing strategic legal counsel on U.S. import compliance, conducting tariff impact assessments, and collaborating cross-functionally to mitigate compliance risks.

Provide strategic legal counsel on U.S. import compliance
Conduct tariff impact assessments
Collaborate cross-functionally to mitigate compliance risks
Develop global trade compliance programs

J.D. degree with active U.S. state bar membership (or foreign equivalent)
8+ years of legal experience, including 5+ years counseling on U.S. import laws (in-house or law firm)
Strong expertise in HTS classification, country of origin determinations, marking requirements, and U.S. tariffs (IEEPA, Sections 232 and 301)
Proven ability to draft global trade compliance contract provisions
Strong program management skills
Immediate start preferred
